Important information

Can I cancel a lesson?

If a lesson is canceled by the student less than 12 hours before the start, the lesson is forfeited. If a lesson is canceled by the tutor less than 12 hours before, the tutor will provide an additional lesson free of charge.

When does the subscription start?

The subscription becomes active on the day of the first lesson and remains valid for the period it was purchased for. For example, if the subscription is valid for 1 month, any unused lessons after this period will expire. The first lesson must be taken within 1 week after payment.

If the lesson does not take place within this period, the subscription will be considered automatically started 7 days after the payment date.

The first lesson of a subscription must also be held within one week after payment.

If you paid for the first lesson separately, it must be held within one week after payment. Otherwise, the lesson will be forfeited.

Do I need to prepare materials for the lessons?

No textbook is required — the tutor will provide all the materials. After each lesson, you will be given homework, which will be checked during the next lesson.

When will my lesson take place?

After payment, the tutor will contact you to arrange the lesson time. If you’d like to see the tutor’s schedule in advance, you can write to us and our manager will assist you.

A few words about Nikita

Nikita is a native Russian speaker who is also fluent in Chinese and English. He lives in Istanbul.

Nikita has been working as a tutor for 6 years. He teaches grammar from levels A1–C1 and helps students start speaking Russian quickly, building confidence in conversation from the very first lessons. Nikita works with both adults and children (from 5 years old), offering adapted teaching methods for different age groups.

He is passionate about sports and enjoys hockey and football.

Here’s how Nikita describes his teaching approach:

“I believe that successful learning is built on mutual involvement. That’s why my lessons are held in a light and trusting atmosphere, where students feel comfortable learning and developing.”

How do the lessons take place?

Lessons are held on Zoom (or another similar platform — the teacher will explain how to join the session). During the lesson, the teacher shares their screen, and together you work on different tasks such as grammar, translation, listening, and of course vocabulary. Speaking practice is included at the beginning of every lesson (a little conversation in Russian). The teacher will also give you homework. Before the next lesson, you can send your completed assignment, and at the beginning of the class, the teacher will go over your mistakes and clarify anything that was unclear.

All our teachers design their own learning programs, but the general principle of our school is to help you start speaking Russian quickly and feel comfortable communicating with native speakers. That is our main goal.
